Ingredients
| 4 cups cooked rice | 1 cup prepared salsa |
Step by Step Instructions
Warm rice in a saucepan or microwave safe bowl.
Add salsa and stir to combine.
Heat to desired temperature.
This is an excellent way to boost the flavor of precooked and frozen rice, which is what I used to make this recipe. We enjoy doing this when we want to have flavored rice for burritos, tacos or other Mexican style dishes.
You can start with dry rice and sub out some of the water for your favorite salsa instead.
Enjoy!
