Noreen's Kitchen

1 Cup good quality mayonnaise
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper

8 hot dogs, sliced

1 tablespoon butter

1 bag frozen peppers and onions
1 clove minced garlic
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 can green beans, drained
1 small can plain tomato sauce
Salt
Black pepper
Garlic powder
Onion powderItalian seasoning

Step By Step Instructions

Melt butter in a skillet.  Add hot dogs and cook until browned on both sides.

Add peppers and onion and garlic to the pan and sauté until slightly caramelized and the frozen veggies are tender.

Add in stewed tomatoes, green beans, tomato sauce and spices.

Stir to combine and allow to simmer on low for 10 minutes to marry flavors.

Serve over white rice or cooked elbow macaroni.

COOK’S NOTE:  You can always use fresh onion and bell pepper if that is what you have on hand.  One medium onion sliced and one red and one green bell pepper should do the trick here.  Just be sure to saute’ them long enough to soften before
